Liability Coverage In the state of Indiana, if you own a vehicle and drive it you are required to carry at least liability coverage. Liability covers you for damages that you might cause if you are at fault in an accident. The Liability Limits do vary. Indiana's minimum liability coverage requirement is $25,000/$50,000/$10,000. The $25,000 covers bodily injury for one person injured. $50,000 covers bodily injury if more than one person has been injured. The $10,000 covers property damage that you might have caused. Limits of liability can be increased for more coverage, if one feels they need it.

Uninsured and Underinsured Motorist Coverage Uninsured Motorist Coverage will cover you if you are involved in an accident that is not your fault and if the person that hit you does not have insurance, then your insurance company will cover medical for you and damages to your vehicle. If you are making payments on your vehicle you will most likely be required to carry Comprehensive and Collision Coverage.
